Hi there!
I am a Bengali Canadian illustrator, based in Mississauga, ON.
I am driven by my curiosity about the natural world and a deep love of storytelling, shaped by my years of studying and teaching English literature. I have an Honour's Bachelor Degree in Illustration from Sheridan College as well as an Honour's Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Education, and Sociology from the University of Toronto.
Using a unique combination of digital textures and traditional media such as pencil crayons and graphite, I develop intricate images that evoke a feeling of warmth, whimsy, and nostalgia. My work centers on my ability to visually communicate abstract, emotional, and complex ideas in accessible formats. When I’m not drawing, you can find me cozying up with a good book and a warm cup of tea, gazing at the sky, or hanging out with my cats and dogs.
